An air intake structure for a vehicle with a liquid cooled engine is provided. The intake screen and duct flow areas are sized relative to one another to draw air generally evenly throughout the face of the screen. In this way, uneven air flow areas are minimized, the rate of foreign material build-up on the screen is reduced, and delays due to engine cooling inefficiencies or screen clearing downtime are reduced. In duct areas where the optimum size or flow rate is restricted by tractor obstructions or design limitations, a baffle is added to alleviate air flow and equalize the air intake rate over the screen surface.
