ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A room air ionizer which includes a housing having an air inlet and an air outlet, a fan for drawing air into the housing through the air inlet and for blowing air out of the housing through the air outlet, negative ion-producing electrodes located between the fan and the air outlet and a high-voltage generator electrically connected to the elec- trodes, the improvement wherein a mounting plate which inclu- des a plurality of adjustable ball nozzles is positioned over the air outlet, each of the ball nozzles being indivi- dually rotatable to determine in what direction the air with negative ions passing therethrough will flow.
