ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An air-jet mill for fine grinding, surface treatment and/or cooled grinding, includes an annular grinding chamber connected by a flow passage to a pregrinding chamber, an injection nozzle communicating with the flow passage through the pregrinding chamber, peripheral grinding nozzles communicating with the grinding chamber, a discharge passage for the ground product extending axially from the grinding chamber, an inner sizer, and a material return passage between the grinding chamber and the pregrinding chamber. The peripheral nozzles in the grinding chamber are arranged symmetrically around a circle.
