An air motor socket wrench (26) has an air motor (21) secured to a housing (25) of a socket drive assembly (26) having a socket drive member (34) provided with a socket lock ball (36) movable between a socket lock position and a socket unlock position. A hexagon body (69) has inwardly inclined ramp sections (106,107,108,109,110,111) adjacent an inside continuous cylindrical wall (77) of a yoke (33) drivably connected to the motor to oscillate the yoke (33). Rollers (71,72,73,74,75,76) located between the ramp sections (106,107,108,109,110,111) and cylindrical wall (77) of the yoke (33) transmits rotational movement of the yoke (33) to the body (69) and socket drive member (34). A muffler (135) mounted on the air motor (21) reduces the noise generated by the air motor (21).
