An air purifier including: a housing having an air inlet, an air outlet, a receiving chamber communicating between the air inlet and the air outlet, and a pivoted bottom cover covered on the air inlet, the bottom cover having an opening; an induced-draft fan unit mounted in the receiving chamber, and operated to draw outside air into the receiving chamber through the opening of the bottom cover and the air inlet, and to driven induced air out of the housing through the air outlet; a motor-driven axle mounted on the bottom cover on the inside and disposed at one side of the opening of the bottom cover and turned to take up the wire gauze filter of a reel of wire gauze filter connected thereto; and a reel of wire gauze filter mounted on the bottom cover on the inside and disposed at one side of the opening opposite to the motor-driven axle and adapted for removing solid matters from air passing through the opening of the bottom cover, having a lead end covered over the opening of the bottom cover and connected to the motor-driven axle.
