An air purifying device (10) is provided for removing airborne particles. The device includes a housing including an air inlet (26) and an air outlet (28). A fan (14) is positioned within the housing for drawing air into the housing through the air inlet and expelling air through the air outlet. A filter assembly (16) is positioned within the housing between the air inlet and the fan. The filter assembly includes a frame (46) and a filter element (48) mounted to the frame. The device also includes a hanger (18, 20) and an elongate hanger support (22, 24) that removably extends within the hanger. Either the hanger or the elongate hanger support is coupled to the frame while the other is coupled to the housing. The hanger can include a channel (80) or a pair of opposed legs (119) configured to form a gap.
L'invention concerne un système d'épuration d'air (10) servant à éliminer les poussières en suspension dans l'air. Ce système comporte un boîtier pourvu d'un orifice d'admission d'air (26) et d'un orifice d'évacuation d'air (28). Un ventilateur (14) disposé dans le boîtier permet d'aspirer l'air dans le boîtier à travers l'orifice d'admission d'air et d'expulser l'air à travers l'orifice d'évacuation d'air. Un ensemble filtre (16) est disposé dans le boîtier entre l'orifice d'admission d'air et le ventilateur. Cet ensemble filtre (16) comporte un cadre (46) et un élément de filtrage (48) monté sur ce cadre.
