ABSTRACT In the case of an air conveyor for a gas test tube for detecting foreign gases or suspended materials in air, body of the appliance is designed as a handle and suction element as a corrugated bellows, bottom plate of which is connected to a control rod guided in a passage, the said control rod being adapted to be locked when bellows is deaerated, and to be unlocked in order to initiate the suction stroke of the bellows by rotating a counter ring. As a result of this, an accurately defined volume of air initiated by a rotary motion of the said counter ring, is drawn through gas test tube, constant air conveying being effected by the action of corrugated bellows.
