Disclosed is an apparatus for photographing the ground continuously from an airplane, and for recording the so photographed images in digital form on real time. A three-line sensor camera comprising a forward-oblique line sensor, a vertical line sensor and a backward-oblique line sensor is on board. The three-line sensor camera has a gyro integrally connected thereto. Data of camera's attitude available from the gyro, data of digital land images available from the camera and data of airplane's position available from an airborne GPS are recorded and reproduced. The camera is controlled with the aid of the gyro so that its optical axis may be held in a vertical direction at all times.
L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant de photographier en continu le sol depuis un aéronef et d'enregistrer en temps réel les données d'images sous forme de données directement numériques. Un détecteur linéaire orienté selon un axe vertical est situé en un point médian par rapport à deux détecteurs linéaires inclinés, l'un vers l'avant, l'autre vers l'arrière. Ces trois détecteurs linéaires montés parallèlement constituent un appareil photographique à trois détecteurs linéaires. L'appareil photographique est embarqué sur un aéronef. Un gyroscope est intégralement couplé à cet appareil photographique à trois détecteurs linéaires. Les images du sol sont enregistrées et reproduites conformément aux données d'orientation de l'appareil photographique délivrées par le gyroscope, aux données de position de l'aéronef fournies par un positionneur GPS et aux données d'images numériques fournies par l'appareil photographique à trois détecteurs linéaires. Le couplage intégral du gyroscope à l'appareil photographique garantit que l'axe optique de l'appareil photographique est toujours orienté selon un axe vertical.
