The invention provides a wheeled apparatus for transporting a brake assembly and/or a tire assembly from an aircraft. The apparatus contains a slideable hollow housing which can be adjusted in height by a jack associated with the apparatus. A brake assembly can be placed within the housing for transportation or storage. On the bottom front of the housing is a stand for removing a tire assembly.

L'invention se rapporte à un appareil à roues (10) permettant de transporter un ensemble frein (15) et/ou un ensemble pneu d'un avion. L'appareil comprend un logement creux coulissant (12) qui peut être réglé en hauteur par un vérin de levage (26) associé à l'appareil. Un ensemble frein (15) peut être placé à l'intérieur du logement afin de le transporter ou de le stocker. Une béquille (20) est placée au niveau de la partie inférieure avant du logement de façon à permettre de démonter un ensemble pneu.
