An aircraft braking control system for an aircraft braking system that comprises at least one first side braking unit (30L) for braking a respective wheel (22L) positioned on a first side of a longitudinal axis of an aircraft and at least one second side braking unit (30R) for braking a respective wheel (22R) positioned on a second side of said longitudinal axis, said braking control system comprising a brake control unit (40) operable to process respective measurements of performance of the braking units (30L, 30R) and according to the process results to provide command signals for controlling respective braking forces applied by said first and second braking units (30L, 30R) to reduce any difference between a first side braking force applied on the first side of the longitudinal axis by said at least one first side braking unit (30L) and a second side braking force applied on said second side by said at least one second side braking unit (30R).

L'invention porte sur un système de commande de freinage d'aéronef qui comprend au moins une première unité de freinage latérale (30L), placée d'un premier côté de l'axe longitudinal d'un aéronef, qui est destinée à freiner une roue respective (22L); et au moins une seconde unité de freinage latérale (30R), placée d'un second côté de l'axe longitudinal, qui est destinée à freiner une roue respective (22R). Le système de l'invention comprend également une unité de commande de freinage (40) qui traite les mesures de performance respectives des unités de freinage précitées (30L, 30R) et qui fournit, en fonction des résultats du traitement, des signaux de commande destinés à commander les forces de freinage respectives appliquées par lesdites première et seconde unité de freinage (30L, 30R) afin de réduire toute différence entre une première force de freinage latérale appliquée du premier côté de l'axe longitudinal par la première unité de freinage latérale (30L) et une seconde force de freinage appliquée du second côté par la seconde unité de freinage latérale (30R).
