PRECIS DE DIVULGATION L'invention concerne un train d'atterrissage d'aéronef, du type à relevage latéral, et à roues en tandem. Conformément à l'invention, la jambe est formée d'un caisson rigide ayant la forme générale d'un T en présentant un plan de symétrie, et de deux balanciers porteurs de roue articulés en extrémité du caisson, ces deux balanciers s'étendant de part et d'autre du plan de symétrie précité. Chaque balancier est en outre relié au caisson rigide par un amortisseur associé, avec de préférence un système à basculeur et bielle de commande permettant une rétraction de la roue arrière plus basse lors du relevage du train.
