La présente invention porte sur une forme en plan d'empennage de queue pour aéronef comprenant des bords d'attaque (21) et des bords de fuite (22) curvilignes, ladite configuration d'empennage de queue pour aéronef étant telle que l'axe d'articulation (13) est rectiligne et présente un pourcentage non constant par rapport à la corde (50) dans chaque section (51) ou étant telle que ces longerons d'aile (11, 12) sont curvilignes suivant un pourcentage constant ou non constant par rapport à la corde (50) dans chaque section (51).
