An aircraft undercarriage having a drag stay mechanism (22) expending upwardly and rearwardly from a main leg portion (10) of the gear to a pact of the aircraft structure. The undercarriage also includes a locking linkage expending between the main leg (10) and the drag stay means (22), being arranged releasably to lock the drag stay members (24, 26) in a substantially in-line position.

L'invention concerne un train d'atterrissage d'aéronef équipé d'un mécanisme de contrefiche de traînée (22) qui s'étend vers le haut et vers l'arrière depuis une partie de montant principal (10) du train, en direction d'une partie de la structure de l'aéronef. Par ailleurs, le train d'atterrissage comporte un lien de verrouillage qui s'étend depuis le montant principal (10) vers le mécanisme de contrefiche de traînée (22), monté libérable, de manière à verrouiller les éléments du mécanisme (24, 26) dans une position sensiblement alignée.
