An airline handset (10) for use in controlling the flow of compressed air to or from a pneumatic tyre in order to inflate or deflate the tyre, the handset including manually operable valve means (18A, 18G) controlling communication between first and second ports and between the second port and atmosphere, the handset includes display means (24) providing an indication of whether communication between the first and second ports, or between the second port and atmosphere is effected. There is also disclosed a handset including means for restricting flexing of an airline hose so as to minimize the risk of rupture of the hose by an internal coupler.

L'invention concerne un dispositif manuel (10) pour canalisations d'air. Ce dispositif permet de contrôler l'écoulement d'air comprimé vers ou à partir d'un pneu pour le gonfler ou le dégonfler. Ce dispositif comprend une valve (18A, 18G) pouvant être actionnée manuellement pour contrôler la communication entre un premier et un deuxième orifice et entre ce deuxième orifice et l'atmosphère. Par ailleurs, ce dispositif comprend un système d'affichage (24) indiquant si la communication a été établie entre le premier et le deuxième orifice ou entre le deuxième orifice et l'atmosphère. Ce dispositif comprend également un moyen pour empêcher la flexion du tuyau d'air afin de minimiser le risque de rupture du tuyau pour un raccord interne.
