Il comporte essentiellement un levier rotatif autour d'un axe, un balancier rotatif sur le même axe, une contrefiche comportant deux biellettes pivotant l'une par rapport à l'autre, la contrefiche étant reliée au levier, un amortisseur fixé respective- ment sur le levier et le balancier, et un vérin pour appliquer une force de pivotement au levier. Ce train trouve une application particulièrement avantageuse dans les aéronefs du type dit ?commuter?.
