AIRPLANE PARCEL EJECTOR ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A parcel ejection mechanism for airdropping a parcel from an airplane includes an adjustable frame disposed on the underside of the airplane, a hoist for adjusting the frame, a carriage upon which the parcel travels and a mechanism for ejecting the parcel when the carriage reaches the end of its travel. The carriage is caused to travel along the frame by an elastic cable system attached between the airplane and the car- riage. There also being a calibration device for measuring the amount of tension in the cable system.
