Airport takeoff-landing assisting shuttle comprising a remote computer controlled giant robot like linear shuttle operable indexed to steel tracks and track wheel along the runway. A linear induction motor that boosts the airliner into takeoff speed while riding piggyback on the shuttle by firmly holding the tires until takeoff speed is reached then releasing it, and indexes itself with a landing airliner to assist with the landing by synchronizing its speed with that of the landing airliner then clamping the tires firmly in position and providing electromagnetic braking while costing down the runway to an indexed position, where the airliner is picked up by a tractor equipped for the purpose. Fuel cells and inboard batteries provide the source for power boosting and recuperation of the landing braking energy and power requirements for the robot like linear shuttle operation and data transceiver communications with a land based remote control computer system.
