An aluminum alloy having 0.20-0.34 wt.% Mg, 0.35-0.60 wt.% Si, 0.02-0.15 wt.% Mn, up to 0.10 wt.% Cu, up to 0.35 wt.% Fe, with Ti and B grain refiners. The alloy can be extruded at high speed to provide extruded sections which meet T5 and T6 strength requirements.
L'invention concerne un alliage dont les éléments présentent, en pourcentage en poids, les plages de composition suivantes (voir tableau (I)) ainsi que des impuretés accidentelles allant jusqu'à 0,05 pour chaque élément et 0,15 au total, et un aluminium d'équilibrage. Cet alliage peut être extrudé à haute vitesse pour fournir des profils filés satisfaisant aux normes de résistance T5 ou T6.
