The invention relates to novel aldolase-inhibiting compounds that can be advantageously used as medicaments (in therapeutic doses), especially for treating certain cancers, due to the inhibition efficacy thereof. An inventive compound corresponds to general formula (I) wherein the aldehyde group (-CHO) and the phenol group (-OH) are linked to two carbon atoms adjacent to the same aromatic chain, i.e. the first aromatic chain, and R is a phosphate group or a phosphate group mimetic linked to a carbon atom of the second aromatic chain.

L'invention concerne de nouveaux composés inhibiteurs des aldolases qui par leur efficacité d'inhibition peuvent être avantageusement utilisés à titre de médicaments (à des doses thérapeutiques), notamment pour le traitement de certains cancers. Un composé selon l'invention répond à la formule générale suivante : dans laquelle : le groupement aldéhyde (-CHO) et le groupement phénol (-OH) sont fixés à deux atomes de carbone adjacents d'un même maillon aromatique, dit premier maillon aromatique, et fixé à un atome de carbone d'un deuxième maillon aromatique dit second maillon aromatique, R est un groupement phosphate ou un mimétique du groupement phosphate.
