ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE For use in an electrophotographic copy process, a photoconductive element formed of an organic photoconductive composition on a suitable substrate, in which the speed and charge retention of the organic photoconductor, preferably a polymerized vinyl carbazole and 2,4,7-trinitro-9-fluorenone, is improved by the presence of an alicyclic anhydride in an amount within the range of 0.01% to 1.0% by weight of the coated solids.
