The present invention provides an alkaline battery having good heavy-loading discharge characteristics even after long-term storage at high temperatures. The alkaline battery of the present invention comprises a positive electrode containing manganese dioxide and nickel oxyhydroxide as an active material, a negative electrode containing zinc as an active material, and an alkaline electrolyte. The positive electrode further contains at least one compound selected from the group consisting of an oxygen-containing zinc compound, an oxygen-containing calcium compound, an oxygen-containing yttrium compound, and an oxygen-containing titanium compound.
La présente invention concerne un accumulateur alcalin présentant de bonnes caractéristiques de charge élevée/décharge même après un long stockage à des températures élevées. L'accumulateur alcalin de la présente invention comprend une électrode positive contenant comme matière active un dioxyde manganèse et un oxyhydroxyde de nickel, une électrode négative contenant comme matière active du zinc, et un électrolyte alcalin. L'électrode positive contient en outre au moins un composé sélectionné dans le groupe constitué par un composé de zinc contenant de l'oxygène, un composé de calcium contenant de l'oxygène, un composé d'yttrium contenant de l'oxygène, et un composé de titane contenant de l'oxygène.
