A B S T R A C T The invention is concerned with novel, alcoxy- and phenoxy-alkyl esters of 2,6-dimethyl-4-(2-di- fluoromethoxyphenyl)-1,4-dihydropyridine-3,5-di- carboxylic acid having the following general formula: Image where R = C2H4OCH3, C2H4OC2H5, C2H4OC3H7, C2H4OC6H5 or CH(CH3) CH2OCH3. The compounds of the invention produce hypotensive and vasolidation effects, predominantly on cardiac and cerebral vessels.
