The present invention is directed to a series of alkyl quaternium silicone compounds having both alkyl groups and fatty quaternary nitrogen groups attached in one molecule, and the intermediates formed during the production thereof, that are suitable for use in personal care and other applications. These compounds by virtue of their unique structure provide outstanding micro-emulsions and provide outstanding hair conditioning. The compounds of the present invention are represented by Formula: (I); wherein, a is an integer ranging from O to 200: b is an integer ranging from 1 to 40; c is an integer ranging from 1 to 40; n is an integer ranging from 1 to 50; x is an integer ranging from 0 to 21; and R is Formula: (II); or R is Formula: (III).
La présente invention concerne une série de composés de silicone comportant des groupes alkyle et des groupes ammonium quaternaire gras attachés dans une molécule, ainsi que les intermédiaires formés pendant leur préparation, lesquels composés conviennent dans des applications de soins personnels et autres. Grâce à leur structure unique, ces composés permettent d'obtenir de remarquables micro-émulsions et assurent un excellent conditionnement des cheveux.
