Alkylene oxide polymer compositions having particular molecular weight distributions are disclosed. As a result of the molecular weight distributions, the disclosed alkylene oxide polymer compositions are suitable, among other things, for the manufacture of films, e.g., for use in manufacturing soft gel capsules. Capsules made from the disclosed alkylene oxide polymer compositions can provide enhanced resistance to crosslinking often caused by liquid filling materials, e.g., polyethylene glycol, used in gelatin capsule manufacture.

La présente invention concerne des compositions polymères d'oxyde d'alkylène qui présentent une répartition particulière des poids moléculaires. A cause de cette particularité, les compositions selon l'invention conviennent, entre autres choses, pour la fabrication de films utilisés par exemple pour l'obtention de capsules en gel mou. Les capsules obtenues à partir des compositions polymères d'oxyde d'alkylène selon l'invention offrent une plus grande résistance à la réticulation provoquée par des charges liquides telles que le polyéthylène glycol utilisé pour la fabrication des capsules de gélatine.
