ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An attachment for a lightweight all terrain vehicle. The vehicle has at least three wheels and a rear axle joining a pair of rear wheels. The attachment has a pair of brackets to attach to the rear axle. One limb extends forwardly from each bracket. A cross member joins the limbs and is raised above the ground when the all terrain vehicle is level. If the vehicle tips rear- wardly, the cross member contacts the ground to prevent further tipping. -13-
