The ATV Safe provides a custom fitting solid steel mechanical locking enclosure encasing one or both of either the front or rear wheels. Each enclosure is comprised of a convex steel cover over 1/2 of the wheel, welded to a full-sized flat plate outside and bumper plate to the inside, all welded to a flat steel base. When locked, the other 1/2 of the wheel is covered by a convex sliding steel plate, attached at the top of the steel cover, complete with a staple on the lower end connecting to a hinged hasp. Further security is provided by a case hardened staple or chain welded to the base below an axle accommodating a padlock for the axle. The ATV Safe can be free standing, bolted in the rear of a full sized pick-up truck, on a flat deck trailer, on a cement slab, or wood base.
