- 34 - Abstract of the disclosure Alloys of cycloolefin polymers and liquid-crystalline polyesters An alloy containing (A) of at least one unmodified and/or partially modified cycloolefin polymer and (B) at least one fully aromatic, liquid-crystalline polyester, which can be used as a matrix material for composites or for the production of moldings. The proportion of (A) is 40 to 99% by weight and the proportion of (B) is from 1 to 60% by weight, the proportions of (A) and (B) adding up to 100% by weight, based on the total alloy.
