A native, chromatographically purified .alpha.1-AT preparation having a purity of at least 0.7 PU/mg protein and a relative plasma .alpha.1-AT activity of at least 120% is disclosed. The ratio of active to inactive .alpha.1-AT is higher than in plasma. Furthermore, a method of producing this preparation is disclosed, as well as the use of a carrier material, e.g. an inorganic carrier material such as hydroxylapatite for separating active .alpha.1-AT from inactive .alpha.1-AT.

L'invention concerne une préparation d' alpha 1-AT native purifiée par voie chromatographique, présentant une pureté d'au moins 0,7 PE/mg de protéine et une activité alpha 1-AT dans le plasma relative d'au moins 120 %. Le rapport d' alpha 1-AT active/ alpha 1-AT inactive est plus grand que dans le plasma.
