Effective treatments of pain and/or inflammation from ten-donitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, tarsal tunnel syndrome, osteoarthritis, bursi-tis and/or an oral-facial disease are provided. Through the administration of an effective amount of at least one alpha adrenergic agonist at or near a tar-get site, one can reduce, prevent or treat pain and/or inflammation from ten-donitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, tarsal tunnel syndrome, osteoarthritis, bursi-tis and/or an oral-facial disease.
La présente invention concerne des traitements efficaces contre la douleur et/ou l'inflammation provoquées par une tendinite, le syndrome du canal carpien, le syndrome du canal tarsien, l'arthrose, la bursite et/ou une maladie orofaciale. L'administration d'une quantité efficace d'au moins un agoniste alpha-adrénergique au niveau ou à proximité d'un site cible permet de réduire, d'empêcher ou de traiter la douleur et/ou l'inflammation provoquées par une tendinite, le syndrome du canal carpien, le syndrome du canal tarsien, l'arthrose, la bursite et/ou une maladie orofaciale.
