Abstract of the Disclosure Novel .alpha.-aryl-.alpha.,.alpha.-bis[.omega.-(disubstituted amino)- alkyl]acetamides are described herein. The compounds are useful as anti-arrhythmic agents. The compounds are prepared by reacting an appropriate disubstituted ace- tonitrile with an appropriate haloalkyl amine and subse- quently hydrolyzing the resulting nitrile with concentrated sulfuric acid.
