Abstract of the Disclosure Novel .alpha.-aryl-.alpha.,.alpha.-bis[.omega.-(disubstituted amino)alkyl)- acetamides are described herein. The compounds are useful as anti-arrhythmic agents. The compounds are prepared by reacting an appropriate disubstituted acetonitrile with an appropriate haloalkyl amine and subsequently hydrolyzing the resulting nitrile with concentrated sulfuric acid.
