High strength alpha-beta alloy comprising essentially Al: 4.5-5.5%, V: 3.0- 5.0%, Mo: 0.3-1.8%, Fe: 0.2-1.2%, oxygen: 0.12-0.25%, Ti: balance. All other incidental elements should be less than 0.1% for each element and less than 0.5% in total. The alloy possesses improved machinability and ballistic performance compared to Ti-6Al-4V.
Alliage alpha-bêta hautement résistant comprenant sensiblement Al: 4,5-5,5 %, V: 3,0-5,0 %, Mo: 0,3-1,8 %, Fe: 0,2-1,2 %, oxygène: 0,12-0,25 %, le reste étant constitué par Ti. Tous les autres éléments supplémentaires ne doivent pas constituer plus de 0,1 % de chaque élément, et moins de 0,5 % au total. L'alliage présente une usinabilité améliorée et de meilleures performances balistiques en comparaison à Ti-6Al-4V.
