Abstract .alpha.-Olefin copolymers having recurring structural units of the formula Image where preferably T is hydrogen, L1 is hydrogen, L2 is COOL3, L3 is lower alkyl, E is -COO-, G is a hindered amine moiety, a/(a+b+c)= 0.50 to 0.99, b/(a+b+c)= 0 to 0.49 and c/(a+b+c)= 0.01 to 0.50, ase useful as light stabilizers for polymeric substrates, particularly polyolefins.
