Le dispositif comprend une tête d'inscription en contact avec un support d'enregistrement. La tête d'inscription est mobile par rapport au support d'enregistrement et comporte au moins deux alignements d'électrodes. L'un des deux alignements d'électro- des est parallèle à une direction de référence du support d'en- registrement, et les électrodes réparties suivant leur aligne- ment respectif selon un pas détermine sont connectées a un géné- rateur d'impulsions par l'intermédiaire d'un circuit d'aiguilla- ge commandé par un circuit de commande. Un tel dispositif équi- pant une table traçante peut être utilisé comme tracteur de cour- bes ou pour l'inscription de caractères alphanumériques.
