In one aspect the invention is concerned with the means and methods for providing a cell and/or a particle comprising a membrane derived from said cell with an additional proteinaceous molecule, said process comprising contacting said cell and/or said particle with a lipid-modified proteinaceous molecule, wherein said lipid-modified proteinaceous molecule comprises at least one protein moiety derived from a first protein and at least one lipidation signal derived from a second protein. In a preferred embodiment said lipid-modified proteinaceous molecule comprises a part of a molecule derived from the immune system. The invention further provides means and methods for the production of lipid-modified proteinaceous molecules. Also provided are uses of a lipid-modified molecule for providing a cell and/or a particle comprising a membrane derived from said cell with a novel property.
Moyens et méthodes permettant de doter une cellule et/ou une particule comprenant une membrane dérivée de ladite cellule d'une molécule protéinique supplémentaire. Lesdites méthodes consistent à mettre en contact ladite cellule et/ou particule avec une molécule protéinique à modification lipidique, ladite molécule comportant au moins une fraction protéinique dérivée d'une première protéine et au moins un signal de lipidation dérivé d'une seconde protéine. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré, ladite molécule protéinique à modification lipidique comporte une partie d'une molécule dérivée du système immunitaire. La présente invention concerne en outre des moyens et méthodes de production de molécules protéiniques à modification lipidique, ainsi que l'utilisation d'une molécule à modification lipidique pour conférer une nouvelle propriété à une cellule et/ou particule comprenant une membrane dérivée de ladite cellule.
