An adapter for converting self contained compressed gas-powered devices, designed for use with internally-housed standard disposable 12g. CO2 cartridges, to operation powered by larger sources of compressed gas. A specially designed and dimensioned gas delivery pipe fits within the cavity in the device normally occupied by a standard CO2 cartridge, and mates with the annular seal in the device that normally mates with the standard CO2 cartridge. A retaining plug engages a shoulder on the gas delivery pipe as well as the housing of the device to hold the gas delivery pipe in sealing engagement with the seal. The adapter has particular applicability to gas-powered guns, such as BB guns and paintball guns.
