ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to alternating current electric power transmission, means which comprises at least two three- phase aerial or cable lines. Conductors of the homogeneous phases of the lines are separated by a minimum distance permiss- ible for interphase overvoltages, while the voltages of the homo- geneous phases are shifted relative to each other to an angle not equal to zero by using phase control units installed at the terminals of the electric power transmission means. Preferably, each phase of the lines is connected to the homogeneous phases of the systems to be connected meanwhile each phase of another line is connected both to homogeneous phases and to those follow- ed in alternating of the respective systems through a switching arrangement cut-in in turn and providing the respective shift be- tween the voltages of the homogeneous phases of the different lines.
