Cold curing polyisocyanate adhesive compositions suitable for use in the preparation of engineered lumber composites. Additionally provided are catalysts comprising tertiary amine alkoxylates that are reduced in or substantially free of isocyanate-reactive hydroxylic or amine hydrogen atoms. Further provided is a process for preparing composites articles using the adhesive compositions and composite articles prepared from the adhesive compositions. Composite articles prepared from the adhesive compositions have a substantially increased resistance to delamination.
L'invention concerne des compositions adhésives de polyisocyanate à durcissement à froid aptes à une utilisation dans la préparation de composites en bois de haute technologie. L'invention concerne également des catalyseurs contenant des alcoxylates d'amines tertiaires présentant moins ou sensiblement exempts d'atomes hydroxyliques ou amine hydrogène réagissant à l'isocyanate. L'invention concerne également un procédé de préparation d'articles composites utilisant les compositions adhésives et d'articles composites préparés à partir des compositions adhésives. Les articles composites préparés à partir des compositions adhésives présentent une résistance sensiblement accrue à la déstratification.
