ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An alternator with built-in voltage regulator, includes a voltage reguator assembly disposed between one of alternator end frames and alternator rectifier cooling fins. The assembly includes an insulating assembly base and a voltage regulator circuit which are made integral with each other, and the assembly base has embedded therein a plurality of band-shaped conductors including as integral parts thereof voltage regulator circuit termianls, external connection terminals and wiring means for interconnecting the terminals.
