The invention concerns alumina pellets, obtained by dehydrating aluminium hydroxide or oxy-hydroxide, sintering the alumina thus obtained, subjecting the pellets to hydrothermal treatment and calcining, characterised in that: they have a specific surface ranging between 90 and 220 m?2¿/g; they have a V¿37.ANG.? ranging between 40 and 65 ml/g, preferably between 45 and 60 ml/g; they have a V¿200.ANG.? not less than 12 ml/100g, preferably not less than 15 ml/100g, more preferably not less than 18 ml/100g; and they have a specific surface / V¿200.ANG.? ratio not more than 10, preferably not more than 8.5, more preferably not more than 7. The invention also concerns a catalyst support, an adosrbent material and a catalyst made of such pellets. The invention furthr concerns methods for preparing said pellets.
L'invention concerne des agglomérés d'alumine, du type obtenu par déshydratation d'un hydroxyde ou oxyhydroxyde d'aluminium, agglomération de l'alumine ainsi obtenue, traitement hydrothermal des agglomérés et calcination, caractérisés en ce que : - ils présentent une surface spécifique comprise entre 90 et 220 m /g, préférentiellement entre 100 et 200 m2/g ; - ils présentent un V37.ANG. compris entre 40 et 65 ml/g, préférentiellement entre 45 et 60 ml/100g ; - ils présentent un V200.ANG. supérieur ou égal à 12 ml/100g, préférentiellement supérieur ou égal à 15 ml/100g, très préférentiellement supérieur ou égal à 18 ml/100g ; et - ils présentent un rapport surface spécifique / V200.ANG. inférieur ou égal ô 10, préférentiellement inférieur ou égal à 8,5, très préférentiellement inférieur ou égal à 7. L'invention concerne également un support de catalyseur, un matériau adsorbant et un catalyseur constitués par de tels agglomérés. L'invention concerne également des procédés de préparation de ces agglomérés.
