Abstract of the Disclosure A hot-dip aluminum-coated steel sheet the substrate steel of which consists essentially of: C: less than 0.05% by weight, Si: less than 0.10% by weight, Cu: 0.10 - 0.50% by weight, Ni: 0.10 - 0.50% by weight, Cr: 1.80 - 3.00% by weight, N: not more than 0.02% by weight and Fe and unavoidable incidental impurities, which may contain at least one of Ti, Zr, Nb and V in an amount not less than the atomically equivalent amount of C+N, has excellent corrosion resistance against both hot dry oxidation and wet corrosion by condensate of internal combustion engine exhaust gas.
