The present invention provides a blend which exhibits enhanced hiding power and comprises (a) at least one effect pigment and (b) about 0.01 to about 5 weight percent based on the total weight of said blend of an aluminium flake pigment. The present blend is advantageously used in automotive and industrial paint applications.
