- 15 - ALUMINUM EXTRUDED EXTERIOR DOOR FRAME ABSTRACT An exterior door frame formed from a straight elongated aluminum extruded frame member. The frame member has a straight casing wall section and a door jamb end section for connection and reception of a door therein. A thermal brake section is provided between the casing wall section and the door jamb end section. The thermal brake section has a connecting channel in which is disposed a rigid resin material. The channel has a removable interconnecting wall to provide thermal isolation between the door jamb end section and the casing wall section with these sections being interconnected solely by the rigid resin material.
