AN ALUMINUM HEAT-EXCHANGER CORE ABSTRACT An aluminum heat-exchanger core comprised of tubes joined, by a furnace brazing operation using non-corrosive flux, with cooling fins of which surfaces are covered with a brazing material for furnace brazing. Both or either one of the core material of the cooling fins and the brazing material for furnace brazing contains 0.5-2% of Zn, and Zn layer previously provided by plating over the outer surfaces of the tubes to form a Zn diffusion layer by the heating effect during furnace-brazing.
