ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to a metal plate curtain wall structure. The joints of the metal plate structure are sealed weathertight without exposed caulking. A second line defense against water infiltration is formed by a concealed internal drainage system without exposed weep holes eliminating the water stain problem under the weep holes and enhancing the archi- tectural appearance. A plate connection system securely fastened to the stru- ctural support is slidable in the direction parallel to the plate surface allowing free thermal expansion of the plate without weakening the resistance against wind load acting normal to the plate surface. The connection system is also designed to absorb any conceivable dimensional tolernace of the support frame facilitating the easiness of field erection.
