ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The crystallization from the melt of an isotactic butene-1 homopolymer composition or isotactic butene-1-ethylene copolymer composition is promoted by adding a small amount of a nucleating agent selected from the group consisting of stearamide; N,N'-ethylene-bis-stearamide; 1-napthalene acetamide; N-stearoyl-p-aminophenol; mercapto-N-2-napthylacetamide; malonamide; nicotinamide; isonicotinamide; benzamide; salicylamide; and anthranilamide.
