Amidines and derivatives thereof of formula (I) are described. The process for their preparation and pharmaceutical compositions thereof are also described. The amidines of the invention are useful in the inhibition of chemotaxis of neutrophils induced by IL- 8. The compounds of the invention are used in the treatement of psoriasis, ulcerative colitis, melanoma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), bullous pemphigo, rheumatoid arthritis, idiopathic fibrosis, glomerulonephritis and in the prevention and treatment of damages caused by ischemia and reperfusion.
L'invention porte sur des amidines et leurs dérivés de formule (I), sur leur procédé d'obtention et sur des préparations pharmaceutiques les contenant, lesdites amidines servant à inhiber la chimiotaxie des neutrophiles induite par l'IL- 8. Les composés de l'invention s'utilisent pour le traitement: du psoriasis, de la colite ulcéreuse, des mélanomes, de la broncho-pneumopathie obstructive chronique, de la pemphigoïde, de l'arthrite rhumatoïde, de la fibrose idiopathique, de la glomérulonéphrite, et pour la prévention et le traitement des lésions dues à l'ischémie et à la reperfusion.
