New amidinohydrazones of ketones are provided herein which are derived from benzo[b]furan having the general Formula I (see fig. I) I and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts. A process for their production, as well as pharmaceuticals containing these compounds are also provided. The compounds described show improved effects of class III antiarrhythmic agents.
