The present invention relates to inhibitors of 11-.beta. hydroxyl steroid dehydrogenase type 1, antagonists of the mineralocorticoid receptor (MR), and pharmaceutical compositions thereof. The compounds of the invention can be useful in the treatment of various diseases associated with expression of activity of 11-.beta. hydroxyl steroid dehydrogenase type 1 and/or diseases associated with aldosterone excess.

L'invention porte sur des inhibiteurs de la 11-ß hydroxyle stéroïde déshydrogénase de type 1, antagonistes du récepteur minéralocorticoïde (MR), et sur leurs préparations pharmaceutiques. Lesdits composés peuvent servir au traitement de diverses maladies associées à l'expression de l'activité de la 11-ß hydroxyle stéroïde déshydrogénase de type 1 et/ou associées à un excès d'aldostérone.
