PATENT - 122PUS04800 ABSTRACT An amine-boron composition for catalyzing the urethane reaction, particularly in preparing a polyurethane foam, consisting essentially of the addition product of a tertiary amine and a boron compound of the formula RnB(OH)3-n where n = 0 or 1, and R = C1-C8 alkyl, C5-C8 cycloalkyl or C6-C10 aryl. Preferred catalysts are prepared by mixing triethylenediamine with boric acid.
